Children

We want your child to experience an engaging, life-changing message from God’s Word in a way that they can understand, no matter what their age.

What does Christ Church have for children?

Our Children’s ministry, CCKids, is designed specifically for birth to 5th grade and strives to be the best hour of your child’s week. We want your child to experience an engaging, life-changing message from God’s Word, presented in a way they can understand.

In Sprouts, our nursery ministry (birth – 2yrs old) we want to build relationships with parents and introduce kids to the love of their Heavenly Father. While parents enjoy the adult services, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment.

In our preschool ministry, Tree House (3 – 5yrs old), we believe that it is our responsibility to introduce children to the one story underneath all the stories of the Bible and point them to the birth of a child, the Rescuer, Jesus. We invite them to see that He is not only at the center of God’s great story of redemption – He is at the center of their story too.

Jump Start is our elementary ministry (Kindergarten – 3rd grade). Our Sunday mornings are designed to show kids the big picture of God’s story. Kids begin their morning in small groups, then gather together for worship and teaching. Their day ends with a more personal learning time back in small groups. We present a chronological timeline of Bible events – the story of redemption through Jesus, like kids have never seen it before.

Our 4th – 5th graders are part of our Preteen Ministry, High Voltage. This ministry is designed to help kids move from the faith of the parents to making their relationship with Christ a personal one. Their morning begins with “Hang Time” – this is a chance for them to get to know their leaders and each other. Large group includes exciting worship and true-to-life lessons so they can live out what they study. Preteens will be challenged to go deep in God’s Word and develop lasting, meaningful relationships.

CC Special exists to promote the spiritual growth of special needs individuals and their families. We do this by providing a supportive, one on one friend to assist on Sunday mornings as needed. We provide assistance to the teachers while including the children.

Will my children be safe?

We have several key features in place to help keep your child safe. When you arrive for the first time, please stop by our check-in station to register. Once at your classroom, you will find a check-in system with security stickers. All of our volunteers are background checked and attend ongoing training throughout the year.

Friday Night Jam is a dance for elementary age children which is held once a month as an outreach to the community. Kids are encouraged to invite their friends out to have fun in a safe environment. Admission is $5 and includes Pizza, drink, dessert, and a chance to win one of many door prizes! FNJ is held every first Friday of the month at Webb Murray for Kindergarten – 6th Grade;  and every 2nd Friday of the month at our Mt. View Campus for Kindergarten – 6th Grade.

When does the children’s ministry meet?

The Children’s Ministry meets each week during our regular service times on Sundays. This allows you the opportunity to worship while your children are enjoying activities geared toward their age group. We will do our best to ensure your child’s happiness and attend to his or her needs while you attend worship. Parents with infants and toddlers are issued pagers or may leave their cell phone number to be texted should they be needed during the service.
