What is the purpose of the GENERATIONZ campaign?Kids 1

Christianity is just one generation away from becoming extinct. Generation “Z” are people ages 0 to 13 and according to Bill Hybels, founder and lead pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, any church which wants to make a lasting impact in the future has to focus upon reaching children and students with the Gospel and empowering them to reach their generation for Christ! The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds to raise faith to reach the next generation for Jesus Christ.

What are we trying to accomplish through the GENERATIONZ campaign?

The major purposes for the money from the GENERATIONZ campaign are:

DSC_0057-2Why are we doing this?

We are doing this campaign because God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. We want to love like God, so that people don’t have to live another day without Jesus Christ. There are thousands in our community who don’t know about God’s love and forgiveness or the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. If no one tells them, how will they know? We want our children and our children’s children to come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Why are we building now?

We need to begin building now in order to continue to minister to the needs of our community. Our worship services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Children’s Worship have reached capacity and God continues to bless us with more and more people wanting to worship at Christ Church. In order to respond to this blessing and welcome those who come in the future, we must provide this additional space for ministry and to develop community in a welcoming environment at all of our campuses. Our current situation clearly calls for immediate action now!

What is the total project budget for the new projects?

We are praying for a God-sized goal of $2.5 million for all campuses combined.
